Veronica Argumedo

Veronica Argumedo is an audio and video editor, as well as an on-air talent, currently pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Digital Media, a Transfer Associate of Arts in Theatre Arts, along with Certificates of Achievement in Audio, Video, and Social Media. She is actively studying in both the Digital Media and Delta Drama Departments at San Joaquin Delta College.
Veronica aims to become a video and audio editor, as well as a film producer or on-air radio talent. Recently, she worked as the main videographer and video editor for the "209 Talk: Election Season" episode and hosts two podcasts, Scrubbed In: Grey's Anatomy Analysis and Let's Read It, Reddit!, where she serves as both the host and audio editor.
In her downtime, you’ll likely find Veronica relaxing with a good book and a cup of coffee or watching one of her favorite comfort films. She enjoys consuming media just as much as she loves creating it.

Alyson Tse

Alyson Tse is a student majoring in Digital Media at San Joaquin Delta College. She has been involved in audio production projects such as podcasts, including her show called "Nonstop KPOP," music production, and creating graphics during her time as a social media manager. Alyson is eager to gain more experience in audio and video through the various opportunities available this semester. When she's not focusing on her studies, Alyson enjoys dancing, singing, playing guitar, and being an active member of the community by supporting local events and businesses.

James Basulto

James Basulto is a Delta College student majoring in Multimedia, with a passion for using digital platforms to create engaging content. He aspires to become a social media manager for a soccer club, blending his love for sports with his digital media expertise. Eager to connect and collaborate, James looks forward to working with others who share his passion for digital media and the sports industry.

Nico Combs

Nico Combs is a writer and video editor pursuing an Associate of Arts degree in Digital Media, Certificate of Achievement with Emphasis in Audio, and Certificate of Achievement with Emphasis in Video. Nico is the host of the KWDC podcast "All About Mythos" and has a deep interest in pagan religion and mythology around the world. He has produced video content for the Delta College CalWORKS program, various PSAs for the KWDC radio station, ENGs for DCTV News, and won first place in the multimedia division and the Cal Water Golden Spigot award with his team in the 2024 San Joaquin County of Education H2O Hackathon.

Alexander

Hello! My name is Alexander and I am a freelance voice actor and video editor. I am a part-time content creator on Twitch and Youtube where I edit all of my own videos. I am a Culinary Arts and Digital Media major at San Joaquin Delta College and if there are any video projects including food and/or it's production, count me in! Christina Goodman

Christina Goodman is a sixth-year Digital Media student at San Joaquin Delta College. In 2023, she earned two degrees, one in Communications and another in Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Christina has received multiple awards from the Journalism Association of Community Colleges (JACC) for her articles and photography featured in Delta College's newspaper, The Collegian. She currently serves as the photo editor, co-editor of the opinion section, and co-editor-in-chief for the fall 2024 semester.
Originally born in Oakland, CA, Christina has lived in East Palo Alto and Texas but considers Texas her home since she spent most of her time there before returning to California in 2006.

Meigan Jeung

Meigan is a student at San Joaquin Delta College majoring in Digital Media. She loves spending time outdoors with friends and helping others whenever she can. Meigan enjoys learning new things and improving her skills. She hopes that one day, working as a video editor can support her full-time volunteer work.

Sammy Jimenez

Hey y'all! I'm Sammy Jimenez, I love watching movies and practicing photography. I am a community based person who loves to work with others. As a former student government officer, I appreciate the resources Delta offers for its students and the overwhelming opportunities available! KWDC 93.5 is a great platform to show off my work and pertinent content to local residents and students.

Akayla Jones

Akayla Jones is a second-year student at Delta College majoring in Digital Media. She is excited to learn more and continue to gain a hands-on experience. After obtaining her associates in Digital Media she hopes to transfer to a top film school to receive her bachelor's degree. In her free time, she takes care of her garden and tries new recipes.

Michael Lopez

Michael Lopez has been a student at San Joaquin Delta College since Fall 2018, pursuing five different degrees: Theater Arts, Acting, Culinary Arts, Baking and Pastry, Digital Media, and Multimedia. While juggling acting, cooking savory and sweet dishes, and managing digital media projects may seem like a lot, Michael thrives on the challenge. He’s driven to push boundaries and stand out by doing something truly unique.
Michael’s goal is to become a content creator with a fresh perspective, aiming to create work that’s unlike anything people have seen before. This semester, he is focused on expanding his creativity, particularly in audio production, while building his portfolio and helping others along the way.
Among his accomplishments, Michael was a Top 5 finalist in the Intercollegiate Broadcasting Systems competition for Creative Podcasting, though he didn’t take first place—yet. In his free time, he enjoys cooking and baking with his own creative twist, much like he approaches his acting and podcasting, always adding a personal flair to everything he does.

Estefania Perez Picon

Estefania Perez Picon is a student here at San Joaquin Delta College pursuing her AA in Digital Media. Estefania specializes in sports photography and videography. She has much experience under her belt as she has been a content creator for the Men's Professional Racquetball Tour (IRT) garnering over 60k followers across its platforms as well as working for USA Racquetball; The United States Governing Body for Racquetball which has over 25k followers across its platforms.
Her love for sports photography and videography flourished just a few years back when watching other content creators and thinking "I can do that too". She is the founder and creator of the "California Racquetball Scoop" which can be found on Instagram and Facebook. On her page, she displays her work mixed with her creation of short documentaries and other media work she is expanding regularly. Although her passion is sports photography and videography, specializing in racquetball as she hopes to give back to the sport as much as it has given her incredible experiences in her life, she is constantly learning new skills and is now working in portrait photography.
Estefania is vigorously expanding her skills and has developed a deep passion for digital media. She takes pride in her work assuring that everything she creates is authentic and captures the raw emotion of the people involved in her pieces. Estefania believes she is never done learning and views every day as an opportunity to learn something new.

Kymani Kuamoo

My name is Kymani Kuamoo, and I’m a student at San Joaquin Delta College, currently enrolled in the Digital Media program. I began my journey with DMEDIA 11, an introductory course in audio production, and I’m now taking DMEDIA 25A, a media content creation course. My goal is to earn a Digital Media certificate and pursue a career in audio production and broadcasting. My inspiration to work in radio comes from my uncle, a radio DJ and program director in Honolulu, Hawaii. With a broad appreciation for different music genres, I’m excited to work in any radio format.

Cesar Rosas Jr.

My name is Cesar Rosas Jr., and I am an indie filmmaker, writer, director, producer, composer, and actor for my film production company, [CJ] Studios. Passionate about the entertainment industry, I love creating stories with my closest friends, who also star in my projects. My goal is to become a successful content creator, using my filmmaking skills to bring my creative vision to life.

Brian Rodriguez

Brian Rodriguez (they/them) is a Digital Media major at San Joaquin Delta College, with aspirations to become a film and television editor while expanding their expertise in various forms of media editing. Their previous experience includes hosting The Phonebooth, a pop culture podcast for KXVS in Stockton, which ran for two years. Beyond their passion for editing, Brian also enjoys writing in their free time.

FACULTY

Adriana Brogger has built a diverse career in media, serving as a breaking news reporter, assignment editor, producer, and writer for both commercial and nonprofit organizations.

Her local experience includes roles at KCRA-3, KQCA-My58, and EstrellaTV in Sacramento. In addition, she works as a freelance voice-over artist and commercial talent in both the Sacramento and San Francisco markets.

A proud alumna of San Joaquin Delta College’s Radio/Television program, Adriana now teaches in the same program. She attended California State University, Stanislaus, where she focused on communications studies for a bachelor's degree, and later earned a master’s degree in strategic communications. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of the Pacific.

Adriana enjoys being an active part of the Stockton community. She has served as a past president of her local Parent Teacher Association (PTA), coached YMCA soccer for San Joaquin County, co-founded My Sister’s Closet, a nonprofit in Stockton, and volunteered as an adult literacy tutor with the San Joaquin County Public Library’s outreach program and is a current board member for Family Resource Center San Joaquin County.

Leo Marquez is our full-time lab tech. He graduated from Ex'pression College for Digital Arts with a BAS in Audio Engineering in 2015.

Leo comes to Digital Media with a large background in studio recording/mixing and live sound. When he isn't working in the Digital Media labs he is at home with his family or working freelance events as a DJ, audio engineer and videographer.

He is also a former member of the Recording Academy: Grammy U. He also continues to work as a producer and is planning on going back to school to earn his Masters in Mass Communications with an emphasis in Digital Media.

Evan Teed is our adjunct professor for DMEDIA 24 (editing). He has over a decade of experience in the film industry and has worked on a wide range of projects. He graduated from Delta College with an AA in Radio / Television and went on to graduate from San Francisco State with a BA in Cinema.

Outside of DMEDIA, Evan works as a freelance videographer, producer, and editor.
